Thank You…(Color Your season #2)

From flowers to falling leaves the Color Your Season bundle will have you playing with color and with New Watercolor Pencils you will be set!I used the crushed curry, cajun craze and cherry cobbler  watercolor pencils and a blender pen on today’s cardWatermarked(2018-08-13-2120)

The card base is crushed curry cut at 4 1/4″ X 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I stamped the leaves several times on the card front with crushed curry classic ink, stamping off first to give a softer look. To give the card front some extra texture I embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder. Add a 2 /12″ X 4 1/4″ piece of the wood texture designer series stack.

The scallop plaque was created with very vanilla card stock and the Color Your Season smallest stitched framlits, Thank You was embossed using VersaMark ink and gold embossing powder. I stamped several leaves in crumb cake ink then colored them in with the watercolor pencils and a blender pen.

To put it all together I adhered a piece of the burlap ribbon and attached the plaque with dimensionals. I die cut several leaves in cajun craze and crushed curry and adhered them with glue dots behind the plaque and added a linen thread bow.

I hope this project has Inspired you, the supplies I uses are listed below and linked to my online store.

Just A Note…

Sometimes just a little note card is perfect to  give to a friend to say thank you or how much you appreciate them. When you make one you might as well make a stack, it won’t take long with the Varied Vases Bundle, the Narrow Note Cards and STAMPARATUS!

To create the back ground I lined up the scallop stamp image on the STAMPARATUS and stamped in Memento Black Ink several times moving down one hinge at a time, the repeated to fill in the space. Next I lined up the solid scallop image repeating as I did with the first image and using Granny Apple Green and Pool Party classic ink.

I die cut a Stitched Shape Framelits oval in Whisper White card stock and a scallop oval from the Layering Oval Framelits in Basic Black card stock. I stamped the outline flower image and leaves in Memento Black Ink. The flower and leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green and Pool Party classic ink, the vase in Memento Black Ink. To finish off I popped up the vase with a dimensional, adhered the oval to the scallop, wrapped a Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon around the card and tied a bow and attached the oval to the front with dimensionals.

You can also create back grounds with designer series paper, background stamps and texture embossing folders, with the Narrow Note Cards you have 20 in a pack so you can make a variety!

I Just Love You….

Today is day 5 of my Valentine share and I have made a card that will be perfect to give to that special someone. Melon mambo, basic black and whisper white are the colors I choose with a little added sequins bling.

IMG_6213 I combined images from the Petal Palette and Picture Perfect Birthday stamp sets featured the Occasions catalog. By using the New Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! I was able to easily line up the images, this fun NEW tool will be available in our 2018-2019 Annual Catalog on June 2.

Directions:  To create the card I used the NEW Narrow Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Catalog and the Stamparatus. (complete list of supplies below)

  • When using the Stamparatus you will follow these three steps for most projects to set up placement for the stamp. I placed the note card in the left hand corner for this card but you can use the entire area.  The stamp I am using first  is a red rubber stamp so I am working on the grid base.
  • Repeat the above steps but move down 1 hinge for each image.
  • The second image is a photopolymer so we will be using  a thin foam pad for cushion (included with the Stamparatus)
  • Ink the “LOVE” on the I Just Love You stamp with a basic black Stampin’ Write marker and stamp on a scrap on melon mambo CS, die cut with a heart shape and attach with a dimensional.
  • Adhere the  melon mambo washi tape along the left side, wrap around a 15″ piece of basic black bakers twine,  when tying the bow insert  a 4″ piece of black sequin trim.
  • I added a strip of washi tape to the envelope and stamped “I Just Love You” along the long side.

I’m sure now that you see how easy it is to have perfect placement with the Stamparatus you can’t wait to get yours. I will be sharing more projects using different techniques over the next couple months 🙂
