Today is day 5 of my Valentine share and I have made a card that will be perfect to give to that special someone. Melon mambo, basic black and whisper white are the colors I choose with a little added sequins bling.
I combined images from the Petal Palette and Picture Perfect Birthday stamp sets featured the Occasions catalog. By using the New Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! I was able to easily line up the images, this fun NEW tool will be available in our 2018-2019 Annual Catalog on June 2.
Directions: To create the card I used the NEW Narrow Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Catalog and the Stamparatus. (complete list of supplies below)
- When using the Stamparatus you will follow these three steps for most projects to set up placement for the stamp. I placed the note card in the left hand corner for this card but you can use the entire area. The stamp I am using first is a red rubber stamp so I am working on the grid base.
- Repeat the above steps but move down 1 hinge for each image.
- The second image is a photopolymer so we will be using a thin foam pad for cushion (included with the Stamparatus)
- Ink the “LOVE” on the I Just Love You stamp with a basic black Stampin’ Write marker and stamp on a scrap on melon mambo CS, die cut with a heart shape and attach with a dimensional.
- Adhere the melon mambo washi tape along the left side, wrap around a 15″ piece of basic black bakers twine, when tying the bow insert a 4″ piece of black sequin trim.
- I added a strip of washi tape to the envelope and stamped “I Just Love You” along the long side.
I’m sure now that you see how easy it is to have perfect placement with the Stamparatus you can’t wait to get yours. I will be sharing more projects using different techniques over the next couple months 🙂
