Sending a handmade Thank You card is so special and always so appreciated. I like having a few on hand for ready to send. I created todays card with the Needle & Thread bundle and the Needlepoint Suite of products. The suite includes coordinating Designer Series paper, mini buttons and linen thread.
Needlepoint Nook Suite
The soft colors and images from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper will give you many choices for you to create just the right combination. For my first card I choose Petal Pink, Highland Heather and Old Olive adding velum leaves, sequins and rhinestones.
Cutting Instructions:
- Whisper White Thick cardstock- cut 1 at 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″
- Petal Pink cardstock- cut 1 at 3 3/4″ X 5″
- Needlepoint Nook DSP- cut 1 at 2 1/4″ X 3 3/4″, cut 1 at 1″ X 3 3/4″
- Whisper White cardstock- emboss a 3″ X 3″ piece with the stitched embossing thinlet, die cut with a stitched shape circle. Cut 1 at 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ and stamp sentiment.
- On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock stamp the leaf image in Old Olive, the large flower in Highland Heather, the trio of flowers in Highland Heather and petal pink. (Die cut images)
- Stamp the butterfly on the Petal Pink cardstock with Petal Pink classic ink and then sponge the edges.
- Velum cardstock- die cut 2 leaves
Assembly:
- Layer the designer series paper on the Petal Pink cardstock, attach to the card base with dimensionals.
- Attach the stitched circle with dimensionals on the designer series paper, add the sentiment to the left.
- Add the leaves & flowers layering with glue dots and dimensionals.
- Finish off with a sprinkling of sequins, rhinestones and an old olive linen thread bow.
