Spooky & Sweet Halloween
Halloween is almost here and such a fun time for paper crafting, Whether you are designing cards, treats or decore items this seasons Halloween stamp sets give you a variety. I hope you will enjoy creating along with me and trying out these three fun fold cards. The cards I designed to share with you use the same layouts as my Mystery Stamping cards from My October World Cardmaking event.
Let’s get started creating these three halloween cards. The cutting dimensions are next to each card, at the bottom is a link to a youtube video you can follow along with as you make your cards.
Card #1 If you’ve got it, HAUNT IT!
- Designer Series Paper – 5 1/2″ x 12? score at 4 1/4″, 7 1/4″, 10 1/4″
- Basic Black – 3 7/8″ x 2 5/8″
- GrannyApple Green – 2 @ 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ die cut scallop rectangles
- Basic White – 2 @ 3 7/8″ x 2 5/8″
- Pumpkin Pie – 2 1/2″ x 3″ scrap
- Crushed Curry – 2 1/2″ x 3″ scrap
Tips – Stamp the witch image in Memento Black and color in with Stampin’ Blends, color ribbon with Stampin’ Blends too. Emboss the starts with white embossing powder
Card #2 BOO! BOO! BOO!
- Designer Series Paper – 3 3/4″ x 5″, 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″
- Basic White – 4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 5 1/2″, 2 3/4″ X 3 3/4″, scrap 3″ x 4″
- Pumpkin Pie – 4 1/4″ x 11″ SCORE AT 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″
- Basic Black – 4″ x 5 1/4″, 4″ x 2 1/2″, 3″ X 4″
Tips – Stamp the with hat and punch out of Basi White scrap, color in with Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the witches boots on Basic White, color in with Stampin’ Blends, add BOO! and Basic Black punched out stars.
Card #3 Say BOO and SCARY ON!
- Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1 1/2″ x 10″, 1 1/4″ x 2″
- Basic Black – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, scrap die cut house and bats
- Old Olive – 4″ x 9″ score at 3″ & 6″
- Basic White – die cut 2″ Stylish Shape square, 2″ x 3 3/8″, scrap
Tips – Create ombre look on the basic white with Crushed Curry ink and a blending brush. Color gingham ribbon with Stampin’ Blends.
