06-23-20….It’s Tuesday and time for creating two cards with one layout with the Simply Citrus card kit for inspiration. The Simply Citrus Card Kit is All Inclusive, everything you need to create your cards is included! We all look for inspiration in may places, Pinterest, blogs, videos etc. To create my cards today I used the designs/layout ideas from the cards included….. but used other products so I could keep creating with the stamp set included.
The card on the left was designed for the Simply Citrus Card Kit, the card on the right I created. I think the two designs are very similar and is a somple layout you could use over and over. Lets take a closer look to see what I used to create the two cards.
Let’s take a closer look…..
I love the colors in this card, Calypso Coral printed card base, printed layer with a Night of Navy strip of paper. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy on a Whisper White label. I added a bakers twine bow and a few flower elements…..all included in the Simply Citrus kit.
With a few new products I have created the same layout using the stamp set that was included in the Simp;y Citrus card kit. The card base is Whisper White, I added a layer of the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series paper. I stamped on a scalloped rectangle with Bumblebeem Just Jade & Flirty Flamingo. I colored in the images with Just Jade and Mango Melody Stampin’ B;ends, added a spekled backgound with Flirty Flamingo. To finish it off I added a linen thread bow and a few Artistry Blooms Sequins.
I was having so much fun I did another set with a differnt card from the Simply Citrus Card Kit…..
I hope that these cards will inspire you to look at cards that you like and change them up a bit for a whole NEW look!
