Looking for easy holiday treats for your children’s classmates, your coworkers, neighbors, friends or to hand out at holiday gatherings? Today I have two treats that I have made over and over to hand out. To create them I used the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More card pack plus a few extra supplies. (listed at the bottom of this post)
Treat #1 Santa’s Elf
Die cut two 2 1/2″ scallop squares, score at 1″ and adhere to each other. (you could also cut two 2 1/2″ squares)
Punch out 1 garden green starburst, punch out the elf from one of the 3″ X 4″ cards with a 1 3/4″ circle punch.
Wrap a piece of the poppy parade ribbon around and tie a knot to form an opening to slide in a snack size candy bar. Adhere the garden green starburst to the front and then attach the elf with a couple of dimensionals. Finish off with a rhinestone for the tip of his hat.
Treat #2 Santa’s Nuggets
You will need 5 Hersey nuggets, cut five 1″ X 3″ pieces from 2 coordinating cards and cover the nuggets. Slide into a 2″ X 8′ cello bag and set aside. To create the topper I cut a 2″ X 3″ piece from one of the cards and scored it at 1 1/2″, cover the top opening of the bag and staple closed. Wrap a piece of garden green bakers twine around twice and tie a bow, add the Santa and “YUM” with dimensionals.
*I like to use tear and tape to secure the paper around the nuggets 🙂
I hope you are ready to create your treats! Below I have added the products used to create these treats, many of the items will be used on other projects I will be sharing this week.
