We all enjoy receiving cards for special occasions but getting one that just says Hello will make any day special. To create this card I combined the Pop of Petals bundle with Itty Bitty Greetings and the Stitched Labels framelets.
To start I used a whisper white card base cut at 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″, I added texture with the Tufted embossing folder on whisper white cut at 4″ X 5 1/4″, next I wrapped a piece of the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon around and ties a bow and then tied a piece of linen thread around the bow. I attached this to the card base with dimensionals. The plaque was die cut with the large label in petal pink and the tag was die cut in whisper white with basic gray ink for the sentiment. I stamped several leaves from the Pop of Petals stamp set in old olive on soft sea foam card stock and cut them out, to add another layer I added two leaves punched in vellum with the leaf punch. To finish it off I stamped two flowers in so saffron and one in petal pink, with an aqua painter I added a little more color with the so saffron and petal pink ink refills (just a drop in each lid) To attach the flowers and leaves I used glue dots and dimensionals, the rhinestones finished it off. The next time you are creating cards make one to send to someone to just say “a little hello” and will definitely make their day!
