I LOVE designer series paper and how it can create a story with every card. Todays Two for Tuesday cards were created with the same stamp set, Broadway Birthdays. What makes them both different is the designer series paper. With just a little change in the colors this layout takes on a whole NEW look that you can make over and over.
I created both cards with a standard card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The first layer added is 2″ x 5 1/4, the second is a 3″ square. Next I die cut a stitched circle with coordinating cardstock and a whisper white stitched rectangle.
Once you have everything you are ready to stamp. The Dinosaur card sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock while the flower one was stamped in Old Olive. To help with lining up the sentiment I stamped the “Make A” first. I then set the Whisper White rectangle below and stamped “It’s Your Birthday”. “The WISH” was stamped last and added with dimensionals.
Your almost there…just add a few dimensionals to the back of your stitched circle and attach to the front of the card 🙂 I hope that this designe has inspired you to pull out some of you stash of designer series paper and create a few cards.
